Indian weddings are known for their vibrancy and grandeur. This particular celebration is a great example of how repurposing wedding rentals in innovative ways can create distinct atmospheres for each aspect of the multi-day festivities. When harnessed creatively, rental furniture can elevate the aesthetic of a wedding AND help keep the budget in check! Check out the photos below to see how this couple, with the help of the incredible planning team at Nouvelle Weddings, carved out unique vibes for each day of their celebration by reinventing the decor.
The Lesson in Versatility & Vision || Seating Areas Used Multiple Ways
We always recommend having a seating area or two on hand for guests to mingle and lounge, but they’re also a great way to mix up the traditional family photos! For Day 1 of their celebrations, this couple posed for photos on our Baines White Rattan Sofa. The Baines was paired with one of our Jethro White Midcentury Club Chairs and Salem Brass Coffee Table.
An Evolving Backdrop: Styling Rentals for Each Day of an Indian Wedding
One of our favorite elements from the multi-day festivities was our Provence Backdrop! Complete with arched panels, the backdrop transformed beautifully throughout the wedding weekend. For the Sangeet, it was dressed with bright, joyful colors, igniting the energy essential for a night filled with music and dance. Fast forward to the wedding day, and the same backdrop oozed sophisticated elegance.
Seating Areas with a Twist || Switching Up the Vibe for the Multi-Day Festivities of an Indian Wedding
The wedding festivities included multiple seating areas, each designed to complement the day’s theme! By sticking with neutral rentals for the furniture, the couple was able to transform the look to match each day’s color palette by switching up the throw pillows and floral arrangements. Day 2 saw pieces like our Frankel White Rattan Sofa and Collins White Chair Set paired with blush and ivory pillows. Our Lennon White Curved Rattan Sofa and Ono Rattan Chair Set also made an appearance, styled to match the wedding’s glam color palette.
Transforming Neutral Rentals to Show Off Your Personal Style
A chic white bar served as one of the focal points of the reception tent. Our Augustine 12′ Bar acted as a blank canvas, so it was able to seamlessly transition through each day of the celebration! By switching up the floral arrangements, what was a fun and dynamic drink station during the Sangeet transformed into an elegant statement bar that added to the reception’s glamorous ambiance.
Whether it’s a vibrant Mehendi, a fun-filled Sangeet, or the grand wedding itself, each occasion can tell its own story while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic through smartly repurposed decor elements. Repurposing rentals is not only environmentally friendly and cost-effective, but also pushes the boundaries of creative expression. With a little creativity, the possibilities are endless!
