The Something Vintage team was so awesome to work with on our selection of farm tables, head table chairs, guest chairs and couches, tables and games for the lawn. The team was so helpful as we put together their perfect pieces for the wedding. Throughout the process as we added things they were responsive and helpful. When you see all of their inventory you are blown away at the selection, but seeing it all at Shadow Creek for our wedding was perfection. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience and what it did to make the wedding so beautiful!
Set the Vibe - Spread the Joy
Who we are
We are a bada$$ team led by women who want to make the world a more bright and happy place to live, radiating positivity and kindness wherever we go. We aren’t afraid to push design boundaries, and we believe in supporting local makers to give your event a bespoke touch. We like to think of our SVR team as family, and we’ve made it our mission to create jobs to sustain and build people up who deserve opportunity, especially BIPOC and other minorities.
What we do
Since launching in 2012, Something Vintage has been obsessed with curating a collection of trend-setting rental pieces that create fun, joy filled, and memorable events. We believe in sustainability – giving new life to old pieces and creating opportunities for local makers. That’s why we build and craft much of our inventory in-house. We believe in the inherent beauty in handmade and vintage items, and we put our blood, sweat, and tears into each and every piece we design.
Our Mission
Our brand is guided by the desire to bring joy into the world of events with well-curated and one of a kind rental inventory. We are dedicated to finding quality pieces that have a story, and more importantly, to helping clients tell their own stories. The events we help to produce are not only creative and fun experiences, but are executed flawlessly. We support our clients and vendors at all times by employing awesome and diligent team members to keep events on schedule and drama-free.
Our Farm Tables
We craft our authentic farm tables from centuries-old, salvaged wood sourced throughout DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Each reclaimed wood farm table has unique saw marks, nail holes, and time-worn impressions that tell the story of the barns and buildings from which they were salvaged. At Something Vintage Rentals, we believe that beauty is in the details – details only found in hand-hewn, reclaimed wood. Our standard farm tables are 96 inches by 42 inches, and seat 8-10 guests comfortably depending on layout. Slightly wider than the average farm table, our beauties are perfect for family-style meals, making weddings and events feel beautiful and intimate, no matter the guest count!
Upholstered Beauties
At Something Vintage, we hunt down forgotten vintage furniture and beautify each piece by hand so they not only look picture-perfect for your event, but are also truly one-of-a-kind! We believe handmade and authentically vintage are worth the sweat, time, and tears it takes to bring these beauties back to life. At Something Vintage, you’ll find the pieces we’ve curated, crafted, and loved – we can’t wait for you and your guests to love them too!
Pottery Studio
The story of Something Vintage actually begins with our china! Years ago, Dawn fell in love with the intricate floral designs on vintage plates and teacups while sourcing pieces for her very own wedding. Things snowballed from there, and a couple of years and many rentals later, we started working with local potters to create our very own custom collections. We now have a pottery studio in our warehouse in Temple Hills, and with the help of our resident potter, Cole, we are creating new collections left and right! For each collection, we make our own custom glazes, and many come with hand-painted 22k gold rims that elevate events with their authentic details and imperfect perfection.
It's a rave!
I always love working with Something Vintage. They have a great inventory of lovely items. Their office is prompt and professional. Their items always come in great condition and they do great with delivery and breakdown, even at events that require a quick turn around for those services.

Our rentals from Something Vintage totally completed the look of our wedding. We did a nontraditional backyard wedding and had a lot of pieces that we made ourselves (ex. benches). The farm tables and chairs we got from Something Vintage were gorgeous and fit in so perfectly that our guests asked if we made them as well! They were so beautiful that our guests used them as a backdrop for photos. Delivery and pick-up was very efficient and easy. Highly recommend using them.

I just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for providing just the perfect touches to our presentation! The furniture was gorgeous, and I know this might seem like a small detail, but I so loved seeing everyone holding the gorgeous glass wear! Our cocktails looked so pretty, and perfectly on brand! It was a crazy day with some extra challenges of traffic, etc. and quite an undertaking, but the team did an AMAZING job, and I can’t thank you enough for being a part of it. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to your team, and can’t wait to share more stunning images!

The lounge set and bride/groom seating we added to our wedding from Something Vintage were perfection! It was the icing on the cake that was our romantic industrial themed wedding at The Winslow in Baltimore. The pieces we chose so perfectly suited our style and colors, but their whole inventory is drool-worthy! From my initial inquiry clear through day of and follow-up, their people were a dream to work with. Professional, flexible, and responsive. We cannot thank them enough for their customer service and helping our wedding vision come together!
