Ashley & Mike || An Intimate Blue & White Wedding at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, VA

The past year has been challenging to say the least, and we know how hard it has been for so many couples forced to downsize or push back their weddings. In the midst of all the postponements and altered plans, we love seeing couples really embrace the intimate wedding! For their wedding at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, Virginia, Ashley & Mike opted for classic style and focused on a color palette of blue and white. To help bring their vision to life, they hired Kim Newton Weddings who chose to incorporate statement pieces like our Luray Pews, Monet Market Cart, and Augustine Bar. In addition to these showstoppers, our Brentwood Tables and Roux Chairs were set up family-style which was perfect for Ashley & Mike’s intimate wedding reception. When we found our Luray Pews in Pennsylvania, they were dark and shiny. Needless to say, we stripped them down and couldn’t be happier with the gorgeous natural wood finish! Complete with beautiful carved details on the sides and decked out with gorgeous florals courtesy of Sophie Felts, the Luray Pews looked picture perfect for this intimate wedding ceremony.

We’re loving this twist on a traditional cake stand! For their wedding reception, Ashley and Mike embraced classic pieces like our Francis Console Table and Monet Market Cart. The distressed finish of the Francis Table was a great base for their stunning cake display and was perfectly in keeping with the feeling of relaxed elegance that permeated the day!

Upon entering the reception tent, guests could find their seating assignment via this dreamy escort display! The whitewash finish and pedestal base of our Takoma Table was the perfect foundation for this display which consisted of gorgeous floral arrangements in blue and white vessels and white orchids in domed cloche jars adorned with custom calligraphy.

For this micro wedding reception, our Brentwood Farm Tables were set up in one long row for an intimate, family-style feel. The Brentwood Tables were paired with our Roux Chairs and a floral chandelier complete with blue and white hydrangeas hung above the tables! The couple’s blue and white color palette carried over into their place settings. They opted to pair our Bloomington Dinner Plates with our Delaney Mixed Vintage Salad Plates. Our Delilah Silver Flatware and a combination of our Zephyr Clear Glass Vintage Goblets and Sensa Glassware topped it all off!

Ashley & Mike loved the idea of customizing their rentals, so they incorporated their custom crest created by Kelsey Malie Calligraphy on whatever they could! Our Augustine 12′ White Bar was one of the focal points of the reception tent, and its middle panel was the perfect spot to highlight their custom monogram. Accented with flowing smilax and more beautiful florals, the result was both classic and chic!

Since this was such an intimate wedding, Ashley & Mike wanted their wedding reception to feel cozy and inviting! To achieve their vision, they created multiple seating areas for guests to lounge following dinner. A small setup including our Madeline Chairs and Catskill Buffet was the perfect spot to display family photos. They also created a larger seating area consisting of pieces like our Fiona Sofa and Capri Chair!
