For our first blog post of the year, we’re looking back at some of our favorite weddings of 2022! Below, you’ll see images from seven different weddings. Behind each event is a talented team of vendors, and while each wedding is very different, the common thread throughout is bold design choices. We love clients who aren’t afraid to take risks, and we think bold design will be front and center in events this year. Stay tuned for our 2023 trend predictions coming soon!
A Big & Bold Wedding at Culture House DC
First up, this big and bold wedding at Culture House DC. Culture House is one of the coolest venues around, and the couple opted for decor that worked well alongside the venue’s many murals. For their dramatic reception space, the couple set up long rows of our Ballston and Yards tables. Tables were paired with our Jae Lucite Chairs and topped with accents like our Torin Chrome Flatware and Iridescent Glassware. They also incorporated fun pieces like our Barack Chairs, Birdie Cocktail Tables, and Calypso Fern Wall, which they decked out with a neon sign.
A Rainbow of Colors at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, MD
Towards the beginning of the planning process, this couple reached out and asked for help creating the design for their big day. Many months later, everything came together and the result was both airy and bright! The focal point of the tables was the rainbow place settings. To let the table settings shine, we opted for white tables which we paired with our Jae Lucite Chairs. The couple wanted tons of iridescent accents throughout, so colorful plates were paired with our Trixie Flatware and Sabrina Glassware. We also brought in pieces like our Boogie Nights Backdrop (which we recently gave face lift!) and Amari Chairs!
A Bright Spring Wedding at The Clifton in Charlottesville, VA
This wedding in Charlottesville embraced the best of springtime with a bright color palette and lots of gorgeous blooms! Following an outdoor ceremony, guests were greeted with a beautiful ombré escort display. Bud vases calligraphed with guests names were set up on our Misha Backdrop and filled with an assortment of buds courtesy of Sophie Felts. In the reception tent, Kim Newton opted for a mix of round tables and our Dupont Whitewashed Tables. She also incorporated some major statement pieces like our Picasso Bar painted a bright coral and decked out with floral decals, and a custom lattice wall she used as a backdrop behind the band!
Modern Romance at The Hotel Washington
Complete with amazing views, this wedding at Hotel Washington served up modern romance, DC style. For dinner, long rows of tables were set up and covered in pale purple linens. The pastel hues continued into the place settings, where Silk & Slate opted for our Florence Mixed Vintage Dinner Plates. To tie everything together, the Florence was paired with our Ayla Flatware and a mix of Sensa Water Glasses and Knoll Champagne Coupes. The result was delicate and romantic, and provided the perfect contrast to some of the more industrial features in the space.
A Classic Vineyard Wedding with a Twist at Pippin Hill Farm
This chic vineyard wedding didn’t shy away from texture or pattern play. Rattan was a major component throughout, and our Alix Chairs complemented the blue and white linens beautifully. A combination of our Yumi and Dandelion pendant lights were hung overhead and adorned with greenery and baby’s breath. Rattan carried over into the bar with our Shiloh 6′ Bar and Bar Back. The Shiloh fit right in with its caned front, but the white finish kept things feeling light and airy!
A Chic Black & White Wedding on the Eastern Shore
Designed with a chic black & white color palette, this Eastern Shore wedding with House of Catherine didn’t disappoint. Bold design was front and center, with lots of touching nods to the couple and their families incorporated throughout. The couple’s black & white color palette started at cocktail hour and carried on throughout the rest of the night. Black and white pieces like our Alexandria and Capitol tables were warmed up with big statement pieces like our Crew Pergola and extra long Woodley Bar. The result was a picture-perfect wedding that felt fun, memorable, and welcoming for guests!
Bohemian Romance at The Horticulture Center in Philadelphia, PA
Last but not least, we’re throwing it back to this moody, bohemian wedding at the Horticulture Center in Philly. Complete with rich jewel tones and the most insane florals courtesy of Robertsons Flowers, this wedding is what boho dreams are made of! For the couple’s intimate ceremony, our Penn Chairs were set up on either side of the aisle which was layered with an assortment of vintage rugs. Confetti & Co. kept the intimate vibes going through the reception by setting up multiple seating areas. By incorporating a mix of velvet and leather upholstery, the lounges felt both cozy and super inviting!
We hope you enjoyed this peek into some of our faves. We can’t wait for you to see everything we have in store for 2023! Happy New Year!
