From the start of the planning process, Erika + Daniel wanted their wedding to be an intimate celebration, so having the wedding take place at a home they built where they could enjoy the weekend with their loved ones made the most sense for the couple. Ultimately, they chose to get married at Daniel’s father’s property on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The couple’s new architecture firm was designing the house, something which felt very symbolic as they began their new life together as husband and wife! The modern design of the house was a great jumping off point for the overall design of the wedding, and Erika + Daniel chose pieces that complemented the property. A combination of farm tables and sleek black chairs helped make their reception feel intimate, all the while providing the simple yet elegant look the couple wanted, and an earthy color palette perfectly complemented their outdoor celebration.
The team at Loblolly Farm created the most gorgeous arrangements for Erika + Daniel’s big day! The combination of earthy hues was perfect for this early fall wedding, and enhanced the neutral palette of the home. For the reception, smilax chandeliers were hung from the tent, and simple greens topped off the tables for a result that was both simple and elegant.
With such a gorgeous waterfront setting for their ceremony location, Erika + Daniel didn’t want anything that would detract from the scenery. With their simple folding design and rich, warm color, our Palmer Garden Chairs were the perfect fit for Erika + Daniel’s intimate ceremony! Keeping with the couple’s color palette of earthy tones, Loblolly Farm topped off the scene with some gorgeous blooms.
Having designed the house together, the architecture was the initial jumping off point for Erika + Daniel’s event design! Our Watergate Midcentury Bar was a no brainer for them as it perfectly complemented the modern architecture of the house with its slatted design and neutral palette. To top the look off, the couple opted to use our Milo Shelves for a unique and stylish bar back!
From the start, Erika + Daniel wanted an intimate wedding, and long rows of farm tables were a great way to achieve the feel they were going for. The couple liked the natural wood hue of the Brentwood Tables, but opted to pair them with straight legs for a sleeker, modern look. They paired the tables with our Penn Black Bentwood Chairs, handmade Targoni Gray Dipped Plates, and gorgeous greenery for a result that was simultaneously simple and elegant!
The couple’s early fall color palette extended to the seating area they set up for guests to lounge on! We incorporated warm hues with pieces like our Memphis Rust Sofa and lots of earthy goodness by bringing in elements like our Maya Jute Rug and Laurel Sage Green Pillows. Our Newton Coffee Table made an appearance as well, with its angular brass base perfectly complementing the modern architecture of the home!
Cheers to the happy couple! xoxo
