With Valentine’s Day only a couple of days away, we wanted to share some last minute inspo with you! Earlier this week, we joined forces with Daylen Rivera and Sweet Root Village to design and style an over-the-top, colorful tablescape. Inspired by candy conversation hearts, the result was exactly what we had in mind! Simultaneously joyful and whimsical, we incorporated some go-to pieces like our Mia Contemporary Masters Chairs and Reine Gold & Lucite Flatware. We also created custom decals for the occasion, and even handmade new heart shaped plates– a big shout out to our incredible potter, Cole, for making this happen! We are so in love with how everything came together and we hope you will be too.
We wanted our heart-shaped plates to be the focal point of the photos, so we gave them a fairly neutral backdrop by painting one of our Wesley Waterfall Tables a pale pink. (We can customize just about anything!) The color was so fitting for our Valentine’s Day theme and didn’t distract from the beauty of the plates. For seating, wfe opted to pair the Wesley with our Mia Contemporary Masters Chairs. The fluid lines of our Mia Chairs complemented the overall whismy of the table without taking the focus away from the gorgeous place settings.
To make each place setting stand out, we anchored our custom heart shaped plates with our Lorelai Iridescent Chargers. Our Reine Gold & Lucite Flatware accompanied each place setting, and we even included a matching heart shaped salt cellar complete with candy hearts! To tie everything together, we served rosé and champagne in our brand new Sabrina Iridescent Glassware. Pro tip: If you’re loving the iridescent trend as much as we are, be sure to check out our Trixie Flatware!
We wanted to do Valentine’s Day decor with a twist, so we opted for a color palette full of creamy pastel hues! We knew from the start that we wanted each place setting to feel unique, so the table included a mix of blue, lavender, yellow, coral, lime, and pale pink plates. Daylen of Sweet Root Village brought in an assortment of gorgeous florals in hues of lilac, pink, and yellow to top it all off. He even brought a few iridescent flowers into the mix and adorned roses and anthuriums with pearls. So dreamy!
We recently started making decals, so we knew we wanted to customize our table by utilizing our new skills! Since we sourced so much inspiration from candy conversation hearts, applying decals to each of our dinner plates was a no-brainer! We opted for fun and modern catchphrases that we printed in a bold red. The result was so unique and perfect for our joyful Valentine’s Day table. We’d love to see something similar used for a stylish bridal shower or baby shower decor!
That’s all, folks! We love how fun this table turned out, and we hope it provided you with some inspiration for any upcoming gatherings of your own. Happy Valentine’s Day! 💘
