Clare & Grant || A Classic Winter Wedding at Williamsburg Inn in Williamsburg, VA

We’re only a few weeks into January, but we’re are already missing the holiday season BIG TIME! Who’s with us?! Getting these gorgeous photos back of Clare & Grant’s December wedding gave us all the feels and brought us back to our holiday happy place. Talk about a winter wonderland! With the help of Samantha at Simply Chic Events, Clare & Grant tweaked their original wedding plans (there was even a last minute venue change!) and scaled down to a more intimate gathering with their nearest and dearest. Designed to capture the couple’s classic aesthetic, their intimate wedding features a crisp color palette, lots of romantic draping, and a cozy seating area set up right next to the Williamsburg Inn’s stone fireplace! Pieces like our Ainsley Emerald Settee, Roux Louis Chairs, and Jolee Gold Vintage Flatware helped to give their day the look they were after.

For dinner, Clare & Grant paired our Roux Louis Chairs with tables draped in luxe emerald green velvet linens they rented from La Tavola. We love how the creamy upholstery of our Roux Chairs contrasts with the rich jewel tone hue of the linens. To top it all off, tartan napkins were tucked under each place setting as a festive nod to the holiday season!

Tables were set with white plates rimmed with gold (check out our Bloomington Collection for a similar handmade option!), clear crystal glassware, and our Jolee Gold Mixed Vintage Flatware. Clare & Grant also incorporated our Lumiere Brass Candlestick Holders, which they enclosed in clear hurricane candleholders for a result that was simultaneously romantic and elegant.

In addition to rich emerald linens and pops of tartan, Clare & Grant transformed their reception space into a winter wonderland by incorporating lots of romantic white draping. For their sweetheart table, the couple chose our Bennett Settee. The crisp white fabric of the Bennett was perfectly in keeping with their color palette, and the settee gave them a cozy spot to cuddle up during dinner and toasts!

Can you spot this season’s hottest accessory?! Clare & Grant topped off our Lauryn Bar with one of our acrylic bar barriers. Custom made for each of our bars, our acrylic barriers make it easy to order drinks while protecting both bartenders and guests from close contact. Safety first!

How cozy is this?! Clare & Grant wanted a comfy spot for guests to be able to lounge throughout the night. Set up next to the inn’s fireplace (which was adorned with a gorgeous Christmas wreath!) this seating area included our Ainsley Settee, Adrian Chairs, and Janice Coffee Table. Our Amira Pillows topped things off and added a touch of glitz that felt so on point for the vibe of the day.

How cute is this?! For favors, each guests received a gorgeous Christmas ornament with custom calligraphy courtesy of Laura Hooper. We love how Clare & Grant incorporated so many festive elements into their big day. We love a winter wedding, and this one was executed SO beautifully!
