Welcome to the final installment of our Twelve Days of Christmas extravaganza! We keep things merry & bright for days 9-12. You’ll notice bold colors and updated takes on traditional decor are a theme throughout. Because “more is more” has always been our motto, we offer up inspiration for over-the-top holiday decor. Go big or go home, am I right?!
Day 9: Christmas Candles
Day 9 brought traditional Christmas decor with a twist! Our Park Place Mantle is always a popular piece for holiday parties and winter weddings. It took center stage on Day 9, and we accessorized it with tons of candles in bold colors. Seriously, we wanted this mantle to feel crowded with candles! Since color is kind of our M.O., we sourced an array of fun candlestick holders in bright, vivid hues. We opted for a light blue backdrop so the colors of the candles would really pop. To finish the look off, instead of logs, we filled the mantle with disco balls in a variety of sizes.
Day 10: Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town
The original idea behind Day 10 was (a tad) too ambitious. Once we realized it might not be feasible to source a giant vintage Santa with sleigh & reindeer lawn ornament that we could suspend from the ceiling of our warehouse in the span of just a few weeks, we toned things down and came up with this instead. In lieu of a festive lawn ornament, we ended up sourcing this wintery backdrop instead! We placed our Jezebel Marquee Sign front and center with Santa’s catchphrase all lit up. Because we’re all about the vibe, we even covered the floor in fake snow!
Day 11: Put the Lights On the Tree
Our collection of Christmas trees is constantly growing, and they took center stage on Day 11! The idea behind the shot was fairly simple: a few of our most colorful trees in front of a bright paper backdrop. We chose to keep most of the trees bare, but decorated our Cupid Blush Tree with vintage ornaments. The colorful ornaments tied in the colors from the backdrop and other trees perfectly, and we chose to group them by color to create an ombré effect. Because it just wouldn’t be an SVR shoot without confetti, we tossed colorful confetti on the trees to finish things off. Honestly, I can’t believe it took us eleven whole days to incorporate confetti!
Day 12: Deck the Halls
The grand finale! Day 12 was all about setting a table that felt festive and Christmas-y without traditional holiday hues like red and green at the forefront. Place settings were designed around our Midori Chartreuse Plate Set. The Midori was paired with our Reine Lucite Flatware, Sensa Glassware, and the cutest paisley napkins we found online at Furbish Studio. Since we had so much color going on in the tablescape, we opted for a blank canvas with our Capitol White Slatted Table and Mia Chairs. The finishing touch? Chandeliers were suspended above the table and decked out with vintage ornaments in a variety of colors!
We had so much fun bringing our vision for a merry & bright Twelve Days of Christmas to life! We hope this peek into our 2021 Christmas shoot gave you inspiration for your next holiday party, or at the very least, helped you get into the holiday spirit. Until next year!
