When our friend Rebekah Murray asked us to support her new (and amazing!) venture The Virginia Dare Dress Company, we were happy that our vintage furniture and props could lend a hand to a fellow boss-lady! She hosted a Kickstarter launch party at the Thomas Birkby House in Leesburg, Virginia to help reach her goal.
She started launched Virginia Dare Dress Co after 10 years of working as a photographer. “I believe beautiful dresses make us feel confident and graceful. I’m drawn to classic silhouettes and simple styles that are flattering and elegant yet easy to wear every day,” said Rebekah. For event planners and photographers especially, it is important to look professional but still have functionality and movement–and POCKETS! So after a lot of research and working with patterns makers in NYC and DC, Rebekah launched Virginia Dare. You can purchase a one of her amazing dress and support her Kickstarter here.
