Since launching in 2012, we’ve been obsessed with curating a collection of trend-setting rental pieces that create fun, joy filled, and memorable events. We have so much fun recommending pieces to clients, but we also love being involved in the design process right from the start! We get it– planning a wedding is hard, and the process can feel so overwhelming at times! If you feel like you need help styling your wedding or weaving all of your ideas together, we’ll work with you to create a cohesive theme and feel that reflects your passion and personality.
At SVR, we are allll about the details, and we’ll consider each and every design element (everything from invitations and table linens, down to the cake topper!) to help bring your vision to life. We are a group of powerhouse women who aren’t afraid to push design boundaries and get shit done! We want to make this world a more bright and happy place one event at a time, and you can rest easy knowing Something Vintage will make your wedding a stylish and expertly-planned fête with our eye for style, creativity, and attention to detail.

For us, the planning process always begins with a discovery meeting! We’ll chat about everything from how you met to your inspiration, preferences, and overall look and feel for your wedding. Bringing together all of the visual elements can be tricky, and we’ll help you develop a color palette and overall aesthetic that works for you!
For this industrial wedding at Dock5, the couple came to us wanting their big day to feel like one big tropical disco. I mean, talk about speaking our language! We ran with this idea and helped transform the space with lots of copper accents, rattan and natural elements that felt very organic, and allll the tropical flowers. We also designed a bunch of colorful seating areas that were perfectly tailored to the fun-loving vibe of this couple.
In addition to weddings, we also offer design and on-site styling for smaller events and gatherings. For June’s first fiesta, we embraced a bold color palette and even took on the floral design! We’re obsessed with garden-inspired blooms with an abundance of foliage, texture galore, and pops of bold color, and the design for this bash was no exception. We brought in lots of bright, lush, wild arrangements to complement the space, and the result still makes us so freakin’ happy! There’s just something about creating beauty and making places come alive with flowers and foliage that is so, SO satisfying!
This day was all about fun, so we chose to incorporate some of our fave pieces from our Midcentury Collection! This cozy seating area was a great spot for guests to lounge, and for the kiddos to hang while June opened gifts. The bright aqua fabric of our Lady Bird Sofa was the focal point of the grouping, and we topped off our Harlow Daybed with pillows in an assortment of textures and hues, and tied everything together with our multicolor Aslan Turkish Kilim Rug!
We’re always in favor of bright colors, and since NYE is a festive occasion, we wanted to incorporate lots of vibrant hues into this fun tablescape. We used our Kalorama Black Table and Penn Bentwood Chairs to anchor this set-up, and layered our Tangiers and Finn rugs underneath to give the space a cozy, intimate feel!
We also thought a lot about NYE rituals when planning everything out. Since eating 12 grapes is considered a lucky New Year’s Eve tradition, we decided to incorporate them, as well as colorful citrus. When we pitched the idea to Holley of She Loves Me, she came up with the idea of a “fruitful new year” and things kind of snowballed from there!
This tablescape was actually the unveiling of our brand new Soleil Collection, and we opted to pair the plates with our new Reine Lucite Flatware for their debut. The lucite is subtle yet pretty, so it wasn’t distracting and really let the handmade china shine! To tie in even more sunset hues, we incorporated blush and clear goblets, as well as light amber champagne coupes and gorgeous florals provided by Sweet Root Village.
The plates were really the focal point of this design, so we wanted a clean, seamless backdrop for the table. In typical SVR fashion, we built a brand new table for the occasion, and we couldn’t be happier with how chic and stylish the waterfall design of our Wesley Midcentury Tables is. We love to make events one-of-a-kind, and we often recommend creating custom pieces for our event design clients. If you can dream it, we can build it!
When this sweet couple reached out for event styling and florals, they were recently engaged and struggling to bring their vision for their big day to life! Enter SVR. We opted for a super neutral color palette for this intimate November wedding, and brought in wool and leather as key elements to cozy everything up.
Doing walk-throughs with our event design clients is always so helpful in recommending the perfect pieces to transform your event space! This intimate reception took place in the Manor House at Goodstone Inn, and we incorporated a mix of our Brentwood Farm Tables and round tables with linens. Cozy knit blankets set the bride and groom’s seating apart from the rest, and our Lumiere Brass Candlesticks gave the room a warm and inviting feel!
