Let me just say that it was a true pleasure coordinating Gina and John’s gorgeous wedding. When Gina asked us to help her coordinate her wedding just six weeks before her big day at Woodend Sanctuary, I couldn’t say no after getting a glimpse that our styles aligned perfectly. Gina loved lace, chic details, and all things vintage, and well….I do too! You’ll see from these pics that it was an amazing day, despite the near 100 degree heat and insane humidity.
I am absolutely obsessed with Gina’s Inbal Dror gown! And she looks absolutely stunning in it. OBSESSED!
This is our of our grande chalkboards with our custom calligraphy showing their guests which direction to walk for the ceremony. I never get enough gold!
At the ceremony, Gina and John wanted their guests to relax and have a good time, so they served their signature “Carlson Sweetheart” cocktails and refreshments from our whitewashed bar before the guests took their seats. It was a great touch with their guests in mind. It was SUPER hot, so I’m sure it was a welcome treat for their friends and family!
Ohhh the pews and flowers! It’s like our pews were made for this space at Woodend! To boot, Sweet Root Village do an incredible job with these flowers on them as well as their killer alter arrangements. They always hit the romantic, organic look right on the head.
Check out her picture-perfect bridemaids in pretty blush dresses.
Boom! That dress. And she looks beautiful in it!
The rain managed to hold off throughout the entire ceremony, but soon after, it REALLY poured. Here’s a shot of our lounge furniture just before it started storming! (Don’t worry, we moved it inside :))
When Gina and I were discussing what she wanted her reception to look like, the words that kept popping up were “pretty” and “lots of lights”. I’d say she made it happen! We used our eyelash runners to give our farm tables a romantic feel along with Sweet Root’s beautiful flowers and vines as well as vintage inspired china. And gold.rimmed.glasses. Heavenly!
Gina and John managed to get some great couples shots at the end of the evening on our pretty Victorian sofa. It really was a pleasure coordinating their big day and working with the other awesome vendors that made this day perfect despite not so cooperative weather!
Congratulations, Gina and John!!! xoxo
