Samantha & Robert || A Chic and Whimsical Wedding in Monkton, MD

We’ve been waiting to share pics from Sam + Robert’s big day for a couple of months now, and we’re so excited for everyone to finally see them! Along with their planner, Brita Olsen Creative, this couple left no stone unturned and created an over-the-top, chic wedding with just a touch of whimsy! Complete with assorted vintage china, mismatched lounge furniture, and the most insane floral chandeliers and lanterns, this wedding was simultaneously stylish and super fun. Chic without being stuffy, the couple mixed elegant upholstered pieces with natural wood elements like farm tables and Bentwood Chairs. All in all, it was the perfect day in Monkton!

Despite the rain, guests didn’t let the dreary weather put a damper on their spirits! After the ceremony, guests crossed the cutest little bridge (adorned with garland, of course) and headed over to the reception tent. Unrelated, how are all of Sam + Robert’s guests so freakin’ stylish!?

Wowza! The details in this tent were off the hook– I mean, just look at those STUNNING floral chandeliers by Blue Vanda Designs! The combination of florals and lanterns hanging from the ceiling of the tent gave off a simultaneously whimsical and elegant vibe.

For place settings, Sam + Robert opted for mixed vintage china and goblets. Pieces like our Delaney Blue + White Assorted Plates and Blue Glass Goblets create memorable and unique place settings that your guests won’t forget anytime soon!

We are loving this adorable little flower girl in our Irving Whitewashed chairs! The couple used two of our Irvings for a super chic sweetheart table set up. These chairs are so pretty on their own, and they look even better topped with gorgeous floral arrangements by Blue Vanda Designs.
Because they had a large tent to fill, our couple got allllll the lounge groupings! It’s always a good idea to give guests a place to take a break from dancing while still being close to the action, and we love that our couple didn’t want everything to be so matchy-matchy. We’re obsessed with the mix of pieces above, including our newly refinished Delores Sofa and Bernadette Turkish Rug! We’ve been seeing more and more people hiring artists to create live portraits at weddings. This is such a fun idea and it makes a perfect keepsake! In addition to having an artist on hand at the reception, this couple also had a super cool VW photo booth bus. Everyone loves a good photo booth, and this has to be one of the coolest ones we’ve seen!
