This blush and gold wedding at the bride’s family property in Luray, VA was an absolute fairytale! When Grit & Grace asked us to provide church pews, vintage mismatched china, teacups, and vintage lounge furniture for this wedidng, of course we were overjoyed to help! We also custom built a 10 ft cross from reclaimed wood that my husband Zach installed for the ceremony site, with the idea that it would resemble an outdoor church with the white vintage pews. Yes, he in his constant sarcasm, made a number of comments about carrying it up hill to the site where he would install it.
Our Victorian Pews really shined in the gorgeous setting and with all of those incredible flowers by Holly Chapple. This is one of our favorite weddings with our church pews to date! The blush, white, and lavendar flowers against our white church pews for this wedding were just over the top incredible. Holly Chapple and her Chapple Designers hit it out of the park, as always!
We love it when clients choose our vintage china and teacups because we have a soft spot in our heart for them. Collecting mismatched china was how I started Something Vintage in 2012, so it’s a bit sentimental for me….and I never get tired of looking at the intricate patterns and how they contrast and compliment each other.
This is one of the vintage place settings using our dinner plates, tea cups and saucers.
Brittney and Ben decided to put their vintage lounge furniture around their insanely gorgeous dance floor. We love this idea because it gives older guests who may want a more plush place to recline a front seat to the dancing action.
Congratulations to Brittney and Ben!
