When this sweet couple reached out for event styling and florals, they were recently engaged and struggling to bring their vision to life for their big day! Enter SVR. Angela + Jarrod wanted an intimate November wedding, and right away, we felt that their vibe meshed sooo well with our personal style. Basically, it was a match made in heaven!
We opted for a super neutral color palette since Angie has been partial to white her whole life. We also brought in wool and leather as key elements to cozy up for this winter wedding.
For cocktail hour, we styled in a mix of upholstered pieces for guests to lounge on. We opted for classics like our Harrison Tufted Leather Sofa and Georgetown Leather Chairs, in addition to our brand new Robin Chairs! To tie everything together, we brought in the warm wool white and gray pillows. For their intimate reception, we incorporated family-style farm tables with knit accents, raw wood, and leather details for a warm and inviting feel. This was our Plan B because it was too wet and cold for outdoor dining, but I think it ended up just as good as Plan A.
Angela wanted lots of whites and greenery for the florals, and creating this dreamy bouquet was so much fun! I knew I wanted to create something that felt super organic, so in addition to garden roses, ranunculus, and overflowing smilax, I also incorporated natural cotton. The result was perfect for the couple’s wintery vibe, and the touch of leather was the perfect accent to tie everything together!
Goodstone Inn is one of our favorite venues, and to style a wedding there was a dream come true! From the start, we knew the gorgeous ivy wall had to be the ceremony backdrop. Incorporating elegant, white roses was the perfect way to take this set-up to the next level! We topped the ceremony site off with our Sonoma Crossback Chairs, and adorned them with just a hint of smilax for a natural and organic feel!
Complete with a distressed, raw finish and full of intricate details, our Catskill Buffet is ALWAYS a showstopper! Paired here with our Griffin Amber Lights, it was the perfect makeshift bar for the couple’s cozy cocktail hour. Topped with smilax and and a lush arrangement, the Catskill looked positively picture perfect!
The Manor House at Goodstone Inn was the perfect setting for Angela + Jarrod’s intimate reception! We incorporated a mix of our Brentwood Farm Tables and round tables. Cozy knit blankets set the bride and groom’s seating apart from the rest, and our Lumiere Brass Candlesticks gave the room a warm and inviting feel!
We custom made these leather napkin rings with gold rivets to bring in additional texture for the place settings and used leather with each guests’ name on it for the place cards. I’m loving the way it turned out and can’t wait to show you the rest of the photos!
